My Sliding Scale: Sacred Reciprocity
In traditional ways, healers were supported by the community because the health of one is the health of all. That truth still guides my work.
My offerings require a deep investment of energy, time, and training, and I am committed to promoting economic justice. We do not all walk the same path of resources.
I believe that healing and spiritual counsel should be accessible while honoring the real costs of sustaining this work.
My sliding scale exists to:
Acknowledges diverse economic realities
Seeks to disrupt patterns of economic exclusion
Offers multiple access points for engagement
As Alexis J. Cunningfolk writes:
“The sliding scale is a tool of accountability and trust. It thrives on honesty, respect for complexity, and the understanding that financial resources are not the only measure of value.”
I do not require income verification. I trust you to choose honestly.
Abundance Rate (Sponsorship / Pay-It-Forward)
Reflects the actual value of my work
Helps fund lower-cost sessions for those in hardship
For you, if you:
Easily meet basic needs
Own property, have savings, or expendable income
Can afford wants, travel, and investments
Wish to support community healing
Choosing this tier is a gift to the community. Thank you.
Standard Rate (Stewardship)
Reflects fair, sustainable compensation
For you, if you:
Meet basic needs with some ease
Occasionally stretch your budget, but avoid hardship
Have a steady income and some expendable funds
This covers my operating costs, expenses, materials, and a fair living wage, excluding discounts.
Accessibility Rate (Scholarship)
Acknowledges financial hardship and systemic barriers
For you, if you:
Often worry about basic needs
Have little expendable income
Qualify for assistance or live paycheck-to-paycheck
Would face hardship paying the full cost
If this rate is still out of reach, please email me to discuss alternative options, including payment plans. I’m also happy to refer you to other practitioners who may be a better match in this regard.
The Spirit of Economic Equanimity
This work is not just a transaction. It is a sacred exchange.
Please reflect honestly:
Does paying the full rate feel like a sacrifice or genuine hardship?
Could you pay more to support someone else’s healing?
Would paying less help you access this work without sacrificing essentials?
Whatever tier you choose, you are welcome here. Together, we keep the circle strong.
