Dagara Divinations

The Call of the Unseen

Come closer, you whose heart is restless.
Come closer, you who stand at thresholds where the maps grow thin.
Come closer, you who ache to remember the hidden music humming beneath the noise of this world.

Divination is a path beneath the path. A river beneath the stone.
It is an ancestral spiritual technology—a living practice older than empires, older than written words.

It is how our people once spoke with the spirits, the winds, the mountain bones, the rivers carrying memory.
It is how we once listened for counsel from the ancestors and elementals who share this earth with us.

Divination opens the way.
It clears debris from the channels between worlds.
It reconnects you to the animist membrane of the living, breathing world.

This is not a novelty. This is not performance.
This is the medicine of belonging. This is remembrance.

May your questions become doorways.

May your sorrow become song.

May the unseen come close enough for you to feel the warmth of its breath on your skin.

What Is Divination?

Divination is an ancestral procedural spiritual technology.

It is the art and science of working in precise relationship with:

  • Spirits and elementals

  • The ancestors who breathe through your blood and bones

  • The intelligent forces living in stone, water, mountain, wind, and flame

  • The cosmic powers woven through the web of existence

This technology predates organized religion. It existed before Spirit was partitioned and titrated by power structures. It belongs to the ways of medicine people, shamans, curanderas, seers, and diviners in countless cultures.

Through divination, we step back into direct relationship with the unseen, to bring the wisdom of the spirit world into the light of everyday life.

It is both mystical and utterly practical. It is spiritual engineering. I am, in these moments, a ritual technician, an electrician for your soul’s circuitry, a plumber clearing the pipes between your life and the divine.

Why Now?

Many of us here in the West walk with fractured ancestral lines, severed traditions, and spiritual amnesia.

Yet deep in our bones, we remember.

This is the time of remembering. The time of restoring sacred relationship. The time to step back into our roles as threshold tenders, guardians of the sacred, and spirit keepers.

Divination is one of the oldest ways we remember who we are—not merely as individuals, but as threads in the great weaving of life.

The work I offer is potent medicine — sometimes soft as a feather drifting through a shaft of forest sunlight, sometimes fierce as the ocean under a full moon.

Divination is one of the most ancient forms of spiritual technology on Earth. It’s an indigenous, earth-based, shamanic modality for receiving answers from the spirit world — a practice more than 8,000 years old, carried in the bones of the Dagara people of Burkina Faso and Ghana, West Africa, and brought to the West through the teachings of elder and ancestor Malidoma Patrice Somé.

Divination is a conversation with the Spirits, Elementals, and Ancestors.

It is a soul-diagnostic that reveals what is in need of healing, brings clarity to crossroads, and illuminates hidden pathways forward. Through this sacred practice, you receive channeled messages and specific rituals from ancestors, elemental beings, and the intelligent consciousness that lives in mountain, water, stone, and sky. These transmissions exist to realign you with your true nature and activate your highest potential.

The Three Steps of Divination

  • The Question: Gathering Your Energies

    It begins with your questions.

    What aches in your spirit?

What thresholds stand before you, veiled and trembling?

Where do you feel blocked, unseen, or lost?

This is the gathering of energies—the swirl of circumstances, emotions, dreams, and deep longing that has brought you to this doorway.

Your question is the beacon that calls the spirits close.

  • The Divination Itself: Sitting with Spirit

We come together—in person in my shrine room, or virtually across the distances—wrapped in the presence of my medicine and the unseen.

We hold the diviner’s stick between us—a conduit for spirit. My diviner’s kit becomes an orchestra of pieces chosen by the stick: stones, shells, icons, bones, objects that speak. It reveals what is out of alignment and how to repair it.

You receive direct answers to your questions.

You hear wisdoms, counsel, and insights that illuminate the unseen terrain of your life.

You receive ritual prescriptions—specific actions, offerings, ceremonies that become bridges for change.

  • The Ritual Path: Walking with Spirit

The work does not end when our session closes.

Your rituals are the crucial third step.

Making offerings to the wild places, the waters, or the ancestors.

Through these rituals, you engage in a living relationship with spirit.

You become attentive to dreams and synchronicities.

You remain open to the whispers that arrive in the rustle of leaves, the flight of a bird, or a sudden knowing that settles in your chest.

Divination opens the way for ongoing dialogue between you and the living world. It reconnects you to the sacred truth that the Earth knows your name—and is waiting for you to remember hers.
